COO & Creative Director, Meredith Singer

 

 Meredith Singer is Verge Pipe Media’s Chief Operations Officer and Director of Creative Services. She credits her background in working with journalists and actors as the #1 attribute required to keep Don in line.

 

Meredith Singer is Verge Pipe Media’s head of ops — MacGyver with a lady-lake predisposition. Meredith grew up and attended college in the Northeast, graduating cum laude from Williams College with a B.A. in analytical thought, creative writing and human psychology (English major). She also spent a good deal of time in the pool as a competitive swimmer and water polo player. Position note: hole set.

 

From the Berkshires, Meredith traveled down the east coast as a broadcast news producer, working under a variety of call letters: WCBS-NY, WRGB-TV, WTVM and WXTX. She enjoyed the pace, and maintains the news is a dream job for heady adrenaline junkies. There are a number of skills within broadcast news that have served Meredith well in her current role at Verge Pipe Media: high-pressure improvisation and a respect for deadline being just two. Ultimately, the news media’s trademark cynicism wasn’t for her and the glimmer of emerging technology sparked her imagination.

Cartoon On The Way!

So, Meredith landed in Auburn, Alabama – her newly adopted home – and jumped out of the news business to start a forward-thinking and free-wheeling multimedia production company. The experience left her with an arsenal of bold ideas, “lessons learned” and an entrepreneurial spirit. Most importantly, at least to the reader of this particular biography, the startup also landed her an introduction to Don Crow and Verge Pipe Media. The rest… is history.

Katie Crow, Chief Legal Crow & Business Development Diva

 

Katie clerked for the Honorable Judge Lane of the Lee County Family Court from 2008 until 2010. She is admitted to practice in all state and municipal courts in Alabama. She is also admitted to practice before the Middle Federal Court. Katie also brings a significant background in sales and business development – making her VPM’s Biz Dev Diva!

Katie M. Crow was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She abandoned the basketball loving state in favor of warmer weather and Football! to attend Auburn University. Thankfully for Don, she loved the area so much she never left. She received her B.A. in Public Relations from Auburn University in 2001 and her Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law of Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama in 2009. Katie is Verge Pipe Media’s Chief Legal Eagle Crow and Business Development Diva, and primarily responsible for keeping Don out of trouble, negotiating killer mega deals with clients and deciphering the legalese so VPM can focus on our clients and mission.

Katie is the proud mother of her step-son, Trevor and daughter, Ellerie. She and Don live in Auburn, Alabama where they enjoy supporting Auburn University; especially in the University’s philanthropic and artistic endeavors. Katie is an active board member of the East Alabama Child Advocacy Center. She enjoys cooking, wine-tasting, crafting of all sorts, bargain shopping and eating at buffets.
