Verge Pipe Media imagines for others and ourselves a world where individuals, groups and brands are connected and share experiences in fun ways on social media platforms, mobile devices and real-world events. VPM will lead the development and growth of apps which combine lifestyle, entertainment, gamification and the “real world.”
The vision is simple: become the most respected creative + tech team in the world. We will achieve this by always demonstrating: integrity, imagination, leadership, Work That Matters, and fun – for our clients and ourselves.
We’d like to think of ourselves as stewards of digital innovation, educators and magic-makers (hey, a little bit of fantasy never hurt). The Verge Pipe Media team embraces a diverse workplace, selecting team players with a wide array of backgrounds and experiences. As a bonus, we’re mobile and world-traveled but our Southeastern HQ allows us to keep overhead low, a convenience we like to pass onto our clients.
Don is an entrepreneur, husband, father, brother, son and several other names we can’t mention here. Don honed his leadership and decision-making skills as a decorated U.S. Army officer. He cut his teeth in the corporate world at AOL, serving as a Marketing and Operations Director, and then went on to deal as a major gifts officer for Auburn University with a focus on Corporate Relations. Verge Pipe Media represents the third venture Don has been a key player in founding.
Philippe started his life in Belgium, and after moving to Alabama at the age of 7, found his way to the lovely town of Auburn for school and tailgating. Graduating with a marketing degree in '07, he helped build a prosperous landscaping company while meeting the needs of his customers. Now he is at VPM helping clients better connect with their customers. On the weekends he can be found outdoors, whether chasing down his daughter or cheering on the Tigers.
Gray has a degree from Auburn University in English, but believe it or not, HE DOESN’T WANT TO TEACH, OK MOM. He’s much happier at Verge Pipe Media, creating entertaining and original work. When he’s not doing that, he enjoys being on his road bike or on the lake, wakeboarding. His spirit animal is a gummy bear.
Moving up and down the east coast, Amanda found her way to Auburn with a little help from her brother and hasn't looked back since. As a Public Relations major, Amanda enjoys the rapid growth surrounding the mobile and social world. When she isn't on her cell phone scrolling through her Twitter feed you can find her socializing and enjoying fine foods and finer drinks.
Katie is a rising senior at Auburn University majoring in Communication and minoring in Spanish. This Georgia native loves Chipotle rice bowls, Netflix binges and traveling (especially on trains). After graduating from Auburn next spring she hopes to move out of the South for a change of scenery and find a job where she can be creative. Just kidding, she’d much rather just marry rich, open a dog spa or a candle store and become one of the Real Housewives, preferably Beverly Hills version.
Robbie is your typical 20-something student, sort of... As a Radio, Television & Film major at Auburn University, he focuses on and loves all things audio/visual. He's dabbled in the less glamorous field of manual labor and come to the very clear conclusion that it's just not his thing. Hoping to graduate in December, Robbie is here to hone his skills as a videographer and editor before stepping out into the frightful "real world."
Katie is Verge Pipe Media’s Legal

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Piper ventured down to Auburn for a change of scenery. Although lacking a Southern accent and a love for sweet tea, her charming ways allow her to fit right in with the Southern belles -- or so she’d like to think. As a senior communication major, her true loves are writing and horses, which she balances as a student and as a member of the equestrian team. Maybe one day she can combine the two and write about horses? Until then, you can find her drinking a lot of coffee, laughing possibly too often, and loving life in Auburn.
